Season 2007-08
With the nucleus of a number of last season's U16 player's and with the introduction of a couple of new faces, the team is focused further than consolidation this season. Promotion to a highere level is the objective this season and they will be working very hard on and off the field to achieve it's aim. Any new player's of the required standard who wishes to be considered should contact the coaching staff or come along to training on Wednesday evenings at Leon School & Sports College from 20:00hrs to 22:30hrs.

MK Wanderers 1 Potterspury Res 4
Potterspury came to Kents Hill determined to get three points with a game plan that was designed to get amongst the young Wanderers and unsettle their passing game. This worked a treat and for 30 minutes out played Wanderers and took the lead from recently returned Chris Burns on 24 minutes. It was after half hour play that Wanderers got behind the Potterspury defence with a through ball from Barry that released Festus. Wanderers defence for the first time this season looked uncomfortable making some basic mistakes, the midfield didn’t really get hold of things so failed to support Festus. HT 0-1
Some strong words were said at half time and lads came out seriously fired up. Within five minutes of the re-start they were level. From a corner the ball eluded the Potterspury defence and Dale crept in from the far post to some how managed to squeeze his header past the keeper. Wanderers continued to take the game to Potterspury and were really looking hungry for more goals. Against the run of play, Pury broke from the right with a ball played through to our box, the forward put pressure on Gavin who inadvertently handle in the area. Mick Owens duly stepped up and made it 1-2. Two quick goals followed, Owen and Golding killed any chance of Wanderers making a come back.
We look forward to our last game against league leaders Rangers XI FC on Saturdat 29th march at Kents Hill Pavilion.
