The under 8 Kestrels are now in the capable hands of Ron Harland, ex Crystal Palace player. Give him a call if you want more information on how to join this team. Players for this age group are training on Friday evenings at Leon School & Sports College from 19:00hrs to 20:00hrs. These guys are the life blood of the club.
With their new drill tops, as kindly sponsored by Mr MASAD of First Dynamic Engineering.
Matches are played at Monkston Pavilion on Saturday mornings at 10:00am during the season. |

Alex Rath
Alex is a fine goalkeeper in the mould of Newcastle United’s Shane Given. Alex put in a 10/10 performance away to Willen FC in November. He made 3 saves that Shane Given would be proud of. A top goalkeeper with a great attitude. Great Lad.
Shane Saunders
Shane is a very hard worker in the Michael Essien mould. If there is an important tackle to be made Shane will be there. Shane also has an eye for goal. Probably Kestrels fittest player. Great energy, great attitude, great lad.
Dan Frazer
Dan is a Man City fan and plays a similar way to City’s Michael Johnson. Like all good midfielders he can defend and attack. Another big hearted player with a great attitude. Very likeable personality. Great Lad.
Samir Masad
Kestrels skipper Samir is a player with a big heart, in the John Terry mould! He never gives up and is a pleasure to coach. He has a good personality and bonds the players together. Good professional attitude. Great lad.
Travis Jacobs
In the six months Kestrels have been formed Travis has been our most consistent performer. Travis works and works, he can tackle, pass and score goals! A Liverpool fan who’s favourite is Fernando Torres. The things is, Travis is more like the brilliant Wayne Rooney. He just loves football. Great attitude, Great lad.
Fraser Mitchell
Fraser is a tall athletic defender in the Rio Ferdinand mould. Strong in the tackle and a good passer of the ball. Fraser has a great easy going personality and is well liked by all the players. Great attitude, great lad.
Joe Evans
Joe joined us in November and this was Kestrels lucky day. What a player, tackles, passes, scores goals and runs all day. Plenty of Stevie Gerrard about Joe. All of that but the most pleasuring thing about Joe is his happy and pleasant personality. Great attitude, great lad.
Matt Robinson
For someone so young, Matt has got an excellent football brain. He knows when to pass and when to hold the ball. Great natural ability and scores goals for fun. Though he is more like a right-footed Robbie Fowler. A good listener and easy to coach. Great lad.
Leke Shodunke
Leke was our last signing and what a great signing. Another four letter name ‘KAKA’ springs to mind when you see Leke play. Although Leke is left footed he has the flair of the brilliant Brazilian. A great lad with great attitude. |

The return of midfield dynamo Shane Saunders and the form of Joe Evans and Fraser Mitchell were major factors in this excellent win at Drayton Park.
Tough tackling Dan Fraser notched a brace of goals. Other scorers were Matt Robinson(4) Travis Jacobs(4) Leke Shodunke(3) and Joe Evans(3). |

"JACOBS CRACKER"
Goalkeeper Alex Rath and defenders Fraser Mitchell, Dan Fraser and Samir Masad were the cornerstone of this excellent victory away to Brookfield Rangers.
Goals came from Matt Robinson(1) Joe Evens(2) Leke Shodunke(2) and a hatrick from Travis Jacobs, whose third goal was a cracking volley. |
