| Under 10 Falcons Season 2011-12 |
Saturday 17th September 2011
Today we lined up for our first league game of the campaign and against a team that dominated our league last season, but also a team that we beat 5-0 away.
The Wanderers got off to a bit of a slow start, but within 10 mins they found there composure and applied pressure to the oppersition, chasing every oppertunity. The game was balanced out for the first 15 mins with both sides getting forward and creating oppertunities, however it was the Falcons that put away the first goal, Conor Hill opening his account for the new season (24 Goals Last Season) he has continued his good form from the pre-season games. The Wanderers now flowing and the whole team are putting in their shift, with a strong back line Luke, Joe and Kai are keeping the oppersition at bay, Jake is also continuing his great form from pre-season. Cory is playing wide on the left and is putting in some great balls with Conor and Brandon coming close to converting them. The wanderers then continue to dominate the play and score 5 more ( Cory Henson scoaring his first goal for the Falcons, Charley Goldsmith-Neil, Adam Blackwell and Brandon McConnell netting 2) Wing scored a great consolation goal on the turn, but left empty handed on points. What a great start to the season for MK Wanderers Falcons, lets just hope we can continue the great form from last season.
