Development Strategy and Plan

To date, the club has achieved considerable success from it's initial inception in 1992 to become one of the largest clubs in Milton Keynes. The next phase of its development is to attain Academy status or similar. The club is a registered mini soccer school affiliated to the Football Association. The club is Football Association Charter Standard Community Club, the first club in Milton Keynes to achieve this pretigious award. By achieving a Charter Standard Award, we are demonstrating to all members, parents, and the public, that the club is well organised and safe, with an environment for development and improvement.

It is recognised that there is a real need to increase the club’s presence in order to facilitate further growth and to realise it’s ambition to fulfill its mission “To Nurture, Encourage, Promote skill, and continually strive to be the best”. MK Wanderers has achieved success over the years by having a number of players training with professional Football Clubs, and there is a real need to capitalise upon these successes to develop the growth potential in line with the club, coaching staff and players ambitions.

The aim is for MK Wanderers is to attain senior status within five to seven years. This means that the club should be playing South Midlands/Spartan league level football in that time subject to securing a suitable place with appropriate facilities.

To ensure your peace of mind, all MK Wanderers Coaches are:

· FA Qualified
· FA CRB Checked
· MK Coach registered
· Child protection trained
· First Aid Qualified
