Development Strategy and Plan
To date, the club has achieved considerable success from it's initial inception in 1992 to become one of the largest clubs in Milton Keynes. The next phase of its development is to attain Academy status or similar. The club is a registered mini soccer school affiliated to the Football Association. The club is an FA Charter Standard Community Club, the first and currently the only club in Milton Keynes to achieve this prestigious award. By achieving a Charter Standard Community Club Award, we are demonstrating to all members, parents, and the public, that the club is well organised and safe, with an environment for development and improvement.

We are a self-funded club with income derived from sponsorship and player’s membership, which includes registration, insurance, training and match fees.
It is recognised that there is a real need to increase the club’s presence in our local community in order to facilitate further growth and to realise it’s ambition to fulfill its mission “To Nurture, Encourage, Promote skill, and continually strive to be the best”. MK Wanderers has achieved success over the years by having a number of players training with professional Football Clubs, and there is a real need to capitalise upon these successes to develop the growth potential in line with the club, coaching staff and players ambitions.
The aim is for MK Wanderers is to attain imtermediate/senior status within five to seven years form year 2002. This means that the club should be playing South Midlands/Spartan league level football in that time subject to securing a suitable place with appropriate facilities. As of the year 2009, the club has achieved this aim and is currently playing in the Molten Sparten South Midlands League Div 2.
To ensure your peace of mind, all MK Wanderers Coaches are:
· FA Qualified · FA CRB Checked · MK Coach registered · Child protection trained · First Aid Qualified
