1st 4 Sports Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football.
Prerequisit - candidates must be 16 years or over on August 1st 2005.
Course Details - The content of the programme is a mixture of theory and practical work based on:
* Coaching ethics
* Constructing coaching sessions for for young players
* Child protection
* FA Emergency First Aid
* Planning and preparing football basics

Leon School and Sports College has been organising football coach education for the last four years and qualified over eight hundred male and female coaches. The new conference facilities, sports café, full size floodlit Astroturf and five grass pitches offer plenty of space for the delivery of all programmes. Experienced, enthusiastic and qualified coach educators deliver the courses.
1st 4 Sport Level One Certificate in coaching football
The thirty hour course is available for candidates over the age of sixteen. It includes practical coaching, first aid, child protection and five workshop modules.
• June 2007 Fri 15th, Sat 16th, Sun 17th, Fri 22nd, and Sat 23rd
• July/August 2007 Fri 27th, Sat 28th, Sun 29th, Fri 3rd and Sat 4th
All Friday sessions are from 18:00pm until 21:30pm, all weekend sessions are from 09.00am until 18:00pm. Practical sessions will take place on Astroturf, grass pitches or in the sportshall.

1st 4 Sport Level Two Certificate in coaching football
This intensive one hundred and fifteen hour course covers all technical aspects, related practices and small sided games. Candidates must be over seventeen years of age.

1st 4 Sport Level Three Certificate in Coaching Football
The one hundred and fifteen hour intensive course is available for candidates who have completed the L2CCF successfully. It includes advanced techniques, principles of play and match tactics. The course is suitable for coaching teenagers and young adults. One course has been planned for 2006
